What was the highlight of Montebelo Viseu Congress Hotel
A brilliant place to stay for 5 nights and we would return.
Everything was wonderful, the staff at reception especially. The robot that was sent to the room was a gas. My highlight was the spa and sauna.
The breakfast. The breakfast was disappointing as the hot food was always cold also there were no hot plates? There could have been a bit more to the cold breakfast as well, such as various salads, boiled eggs smoked salmon. These are things that can be ammended and it´s not the end of the world.

Perfect place to relax
Loved the hotel itself. Very nicely decorated. Nice A/C in a hot summer day. Friendly staff and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The spa is a small circuit but very good. Two indoor pools that were very good with comfy seats. The outdoor pool was also very pleasant with nice shaded areas and comfy lounge chairs. The bed was comfortable and there an array of choices for pillows. Breakfast was excellent!
There was a yellow stain on our duvet cover. We could tell it was clean and it was probably from ironing, but just didn't expect to see it at such a prestige hotel. Also didn't have a kettle and coffee/tea in the room and ai expected- most hotels have this now. But these are small things.

Wonderful
The quality of the hotel in general. Breakfast was excellent. The bedroom exceeded our expectations. Good sized bedroom for a family of 3.
We had the same bath towels for the duration of our stay. Family of 3. It was expected a 5* hotel to get us clean towels daily.

Stay was OK as we were there for a wedding, but wouldn't return.
Nice hotel and modern
Staff were not very helpful and although the pool was open none of the pool side/pool lobby bars were open and the lack of staff meant we had to go to the main hotel bar 1 floor up to get drinks and then no offer to help with them.
